Pre-Match Checks: A Quick Check and a Link Before Every Match
What the pre-match check looks at, how to create and share the link, how long the link works and what admins see.
Updated · 1 min read · by the AACGUARD team
Before an important match, a full scan from yesterday is less useful than a look at the PC right now. The pre-match check is built for that moment: it takes 10–30 seconds and gives you a link to send to the other team or the admins.
What it checks
The pre-match check looks at what is running at this moment: running programs, the game's modules and code injected into it, programs with access to the game's memory, overlays over the game, loaded drivers, proxy DLLs in the game folder and autostart entries. It does not read Windows history, so it is fast. For a complete look at the PC, use a full scan.
How to run it and share the link
- Open AACGUARD and press Pre-match check.
- Wait for the result (10–30 seconds).
- Press Create share link and send the link in your match chat or Discord.
The link opens a page on aacguard.com with the result and when it was made. Each link works for 3 hours, long enough for a match. After that it stops working and you create a new one.
For admins and opponents
- Check the time on the page: a check made two minutes ago says much more than one made two hours ago.
- If the link "does not exist", it expired or was mistyped. Ask the player for a new one.
- Combine it with AACGuard Live: Live keeps checking while the match runs.
Quick check vs pre-match check
The Quick check in the tray menu runs a similar few-second look, but only for you: it is never uploaded and creates no link. Use it to see that everything is fine before you create a pre-match link.
