AACGUARD End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and the AACGUARD team regarding your use of the AACGUARD software and related services. By installing, copying, or using AACGUARD, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Summary (not a legal substitute)

  • You get a personal or server use license to run AACGUARD; you do not own the software.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or share the AACGUARD binaries or any part of the code.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass AACGUARD’s protections.
  • You are responsible for any bans or moderation actions you take based on AACGUARD’s results.
  • The software is provided “as is” with no guarantees; use at your own risk.

This is only a plain‑language overview. The binding terms are defined in the full EULA below.

1. Definitions

1.1. “Software” means the AACGUARD client, launcher, related tools, the AACGUARD web panel, APIs, and any updates, upgrades, patches, or fixes provided by the AACGUARD team.
1.2. “You” or “User” means the individual or legal entity installing, accessing, or using the Software.
1.3. “Services” means any online services, APIs, or dashboards made available by AACGUARD for use with the Software.

2. License grant

2.1. Subject to your continuous compliance with this Agreement, the AACGUARD team grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software:

  • On your own devices for personal use; and/or
  • On servers you own or control, for the purpose of protecting your game servers or community.

2.2. This license is granted for use only; the Software is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved by the AACGUARD team.

3. Restrictions

You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to:

  • Copy, share, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or otherwise transfer the Software or any license keys to any third party.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, detection logic, or underlying ideas of the Software, except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with any security, integrity, or anti‑tamper mechanisms included in the Software or Services.
  • Use the Software to build a competing anti‑cheat product or service, or to assist the development of cheat software, bypasses, or exploits.
  • Use the Software in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third‑party terms (including but not limited to the terms of Valve, Steam, or game publishers).

4. Data collection and privacy

4.1. The Software may collect and transmit certain technical and game‑related information to the AACGUARD Services, such as:

  • Steam identifiers (e.g., Steam ID, display name).
  • Scan metadata (timestamps, results, flags, detection modules triggered).
  • Game configuration and environment data relevant to cheat detection (for example, non‑default CS:GO / CS2 configs and related paths).

4.2. AACGUARD does not intend to collect personal documents or unrelated non‑game data; scans are focused on cheat‑related traces and game‑related telemetry required for anti‑cheat purposes.
4.3. By using the Software, you consent to this data being processed and stored as described in the AACGUARD Privacy Policy. Refer to the dedicated Privacy Policy page for more details.

5. Ownership

5.1. The Software and Services are owned by the AACGUARD team and/or its contributors and licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership interest in the Software, Services, trademarks, or logos. You only receive the limited license described in Section 2.

6. Updates and changes

6.1. AACGUARD may, from time to time, provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. Such updates may be installed automatically or may require manual installation.
6.2. This Agreement applies to any updates or new versions that replace or supplement the original Software, unless a separate license is provided with the update.
6.3. AACGUARD reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Software or Services at any time, with or without notice.

7. Use at your own risk

7.1. AACGUARD provides detection results, scores, and verdicts (for example, “CLEAN”, “SUSPICIOUS”, or “CHEAT DETECTED”) as automated signals only. These do not constitute a guarantee that a user is cheating or is legitimate.
7.2. You are solely responsible for any bans, penalties, restrictions, or moderation decisions you take on your servers or services based on AACGUARD output.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AACGUARD TEAM AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE AACGUARD TEAM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICES WILL BE ERROR‑FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, FREE OF FALSE POSITIVES OR FALSE NEGATIVES, SECURE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SYSTEMS, GAMES, OR CONFIGURATIONS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AACGUARD TEAM OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REPUTATION, SERVICE OUTAGE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE AACGUARD TEAM AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS EXCEED THE AMOUNT (IF ANY) YOU ACTUALLY PAID SPECIFICALLY FOR ACCESS TO THE SOFTWARE.

10. Termination

10.1. This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
10.2. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Software and Services and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession or control.
10.3. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, Sections 3–5 and 7–11) shall continue to apply even after this Agreement ends.

11. General

11.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the AACGUARD team regarding the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.
11.2. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
11.3. The failure of the AACGUARD team to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
